I walked alone through the empty corridor that seemed to never end, everything was quiet except the sounds of my own breaths. I held the books in my arms in a tight grip as I rounded the corner and saw the guy from history class, he was leaning against the wall talking to a beautiful tall girl. Obviously he was gonna have a girlfriend, I mean just look at him. I wanted to slap myself by thinking the thought that he would actually be interested in me, just as I took another stepped towards the couple they turned their heads towards me. The guy turned to the girl and said something before he turned to me and walked up to me.
"Sorry about just leaving like that..", he mumbled whilst fixing his blonde hair looking into my eyes. I gave him a small smile.
"It's fine..?", I realized I didn't know his name nor that he knew mine.
"Evan", he said smiling putting out his hand for me to take.
"Ellie", I smiled back, shaking his hand. He let to of my hand and looked back at the girl, she exchanged a look with Evan before she disappeared outside into the daylight. Evan turned to me again, leaning his left arm against the brick wall so I wouldn't go. He stared deep into my eyes, it was like he put a spell over me.
"Ellie, you're gonna forget about me", he spoke softly trying to make me forget about him. But it didn't work, I wouldn't let it.
"What do you mean? No", I protested. He leaned back slightly and looked chocked at me, what was he trying to do? He backed away, stunned for some reason. I furrowed my eyebrows together of confusion, he didn't say a word just turned around and followed the brunette girl out from the school.

I froze in my walk as I heard a heartbreaking scream from around the corner, it was Ashley. I dropped my books and ran as fast as I could to where the scream came from, Ashley was sunk to the floor. In front of her stood a guy with brownish hair and muscular body.
"Ash..", I mumbled almost like a whisper as I ran over to her, throwing my arms around her not caring about the guy. She wrapped her arms around me shakingly as she sobbed into my shoulder. What had happened here? And who was that guy?
"I'm sorry..", the guy mumbled and walked away, without looking at us. I frowned but didn't let go of Ashley, she needed my comfort. I helped her up and took her hand, I didn't even bigger to go back for my books.
"Let's go get something to calm ourselves", I suggested and she nodded. Wiling away her tears and fixing her hair as we walked away from the school, and as we arrived at the parking lot I saw Evan, the brunette girl and the it her guy standing facing each other. I let go of Ashley and before she could do anything to stop me I walked straight up to them, Evan looked at me like he knew what was going to happened. I grabbed the other guys shoulder and turned him around, he looked mad and hurt.
"What the hell happened to Ashley?", I shouted slightly. When it came to Ashley it wouldn't go easy, I always made people pay.
"I just came there and she was sitting on the floor crying", he lied easily.
"Bullshit!", I shouted and felt him and the girl tense up. Evan stared at me, without saying anything.
"Listen, I didn't have anything to do with this okay!", the guy shot back obviously loosing his temper. I rolled me eyes, and shook my head slowly. Evan looked like he wanted to say something but didn't, and the girl stepped forward.
"Listen - girl, if my brother says he didn't have anything with this to do he didn't", she hissed fast but I didn't get to answer as Ashley walked up to us. She placed her hand on my shoulder, letting me know it was time to go.
"Whatever, you're not off the hook yet", I hissed leaving a silence between them before giving Evan a quick look and turning around with Ashley beside me. To be honest I didn't really know what was going on, who were those people and why was Ashley crying before?
