All the people from the club had just went home and I was closing it for the night. Brittany waited for me at the door, we were going home the same way. I walked over to her while smiling, my mind were set on Sean. 

"Let's go", I said and dragged her outside the door. We were both a little drunk, I locked the door and we started walking home. On the way there we talked about everything and nothing while laughing.
"So you like that guy Sean right?", she asked and smiled. I bit my lip lightly and nodded, we both laughed.
"And you like Jai", I said and she nodded. My feet were hurting a bit from all the dancing so I stopped and took off my shoes, Brittany laughed at me and took off her shoes as well.

After a while of walking we saw some smoke coming from around the corner of the forest.
"Hey look at that!", I gasped and pointed at the burnt down house that was placed on the solid and greasy ground. Both me and Brittany looked shocked at each other, what had happened here? I thought and Brittany snapped me out off my thoughts as she stepped into what remained of the house. There was no roof left which made it so much creepier when the moonlight light up the house. We walked around in the cold dirty house, suddenly I saw a greenish book laying under few planks. I stepped closer with my mouth slightly open, I dragged it out and brushed off the dust from it.
"B..", I said to make Brittany come over. She walked over to me and looked at the book, on the cover there was a symbol looking like a witch symbol or something. I opened it slowly and read the words from the old paper that was inside,
"The Book Of Shadows", I read and flipped to the next page. There was something that looked like a spell.
"It's a book of spells", Brittany gasped. I nodded and read the words on the page out loud.
"Hear now the words of the witches. The secrets we hid in the night. The oldest of gods are invoked here. The great work of magic is sought. In this night and in this hour. We call upon the Ancient Power. Bring your powers to us two. We want the power! Give us the power", I read and felt a chill go up my spine, I huttered slightly of the coldness that suddenly embraced us. 

"Ugh lets get out of here", Brittany said and I nodded in agreement and closed the book.

The next morning I was laying in my bed when I woke up by my phone vibrating on the table beside me.
"Hello?", I said with my tired morning voice.
"Hey", I heard a voice I recognized on the other line, Sean.
"Is this a bad timing?", he asked and I yawned quietly.
"No, no not at all", I assured him and sat up in the bed. I eyed the clock and saw it showed 1pm, I mumbled a 'shit' under my breath and got up on my feet as I put the phone between my chin and shoulder.
"Oh, okay well.. I was wondering if you wanted maybe, do something today?", he asked. I smiled and bit my lip.
"Uh, yeah sure. When?", I said and took off my pajamas.
"How about 4, The Art Museum?", he said and I smiled.
"See you then", I said and was about to hand up when he said,
"Oh, and wear something nice", he said and hung up. I giggled a little and threw my phone at my bed, and waving my hands in the air. Suddenly my bed set on fire, I scream slightly.
"Holy shit!", I screamed and threw my hoodie over it. I sigh in relief ment, what the fuck just happened?

I sat on the wooden chair in the little coffee shop as I waited for my order to come, Brittany came around the corner and continued in my direction. I smiled at her, she sat down in front of me.
"What's up?", she asked. I cleared my throat, you wouldn't believe me if I told you.. I thought.
"Try me", she said like she had read my thoughts. I looked at her shocked with raised eyebrows.
"I didn't say that..", she gasped. So she could hear thoughts? 

"I-..", she started.
"Something weird happened to me too", I said she raised her eyebrow.
"I set my bed on fire, with my mind", I said she gasped again.
"What the hell is going on?" She said while biting her lip, I drew my hand through my hair and sighed frustrated.
"The book!", she shot out. The Book Of Shadows? I thought, she nodded. I swallowed, how is that even possible? I thought again, she shrugged her shoulders. I grabbed my coffee and took a long sip off it.
"You okay?", she asked and I shrugged.
"It's not really everyday information", I said making her laugh slightly.
"No, not really", we started laughing, making it all to a joke even thought we knew it wasn't.
"I need some more milk in this", I said and just like that the milk can [that was made out of metal] was in my hand. I gasped, so did Brittany before she put her hand over her mouth and smiled.
"Omg", I mumbled. I looked at the clock, it showed 3pm so I stood up.
"I gotta get going, I have a 'date' with Sean", I said and she smiled.
"Good luck", she smirked and waved me goodbye.

I had just put on my dress and was putting in my black high heels when the doorbell went off. I walked into the hall with my black bag in my right hand. I saw it was Sean and I opened the door with a sweet smile on my lips.
"Hey- Wow, you look beautiful", he said eyeing me and my black tight dress. I smiled.
"Thanks. You don't look so bad yourself", I said and noticed his white button-up shirt and black pants.
I stepped outside the house and locked the door, Sean took his left arm around my waist and led me towards the black taxi. I sat inside and we started talking about different stuff. Soon we were at the huge museum, it was incredible.
"I didn't know you were an art guy", I said impressed and smiled. We stepped outside the taxi and he half smiled at me.
"There's a lot of things you don't know about me", he said and we walked to the entrée. He was amazing.
